Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church is a Baptist church located in the heart of Altoona, PA. Founded in 1873, Mount Zion prides itself in having members of more than 4 generations at one time. One of our longest serving members is Mrs. Roxie Thomas our Historian and active Missionary who has served at Mount Zion for over 80 years! What a blessing she is!
Our members are dedicated to giving God the glory and honor though their community work, such as prison ministry, clothing drives, missionary work and ultimately saving souls.
Please take time to join us on Zoom for our Sunday Morning Worship Service at 10:45 am, Bible Study on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm and our Prayer Request Line on Tuesdays at 7:15 pm.
